ABOUT US
Jeffrey L. Waeghe purchased Skradski Funeral Home in 1979 from its founder, John J. Skradski. Jeff continues the caring tradition established by John. Edward A. Walker joined Skradski's in 1992 and became a partner in 1993. With his guidance and expertise in the profession, the Skradski Funeral Home expanded in 1994 to Marquette with the purchase of Fassbender Funeral Home and Escanaba in 1997 with the purchase of the Boyce Funeral Home. Renamed the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home, the Escanaba facility shares responsibilities with the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. The Fassbender Funeral Home continues to operate in Marquette.
The dedicated staff of funeral directors is proud that they are all first generation funeral directors. They chose this profession out of their genuine desire to help and care for people.
