Jessica Lynne “Jess” Lambert, age 25, of 8189 41.5 Road, Rapid River, MI. died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. Jess was born February 14, 1978 in Escanaba the daughter of Kenneth Brunette and Rita Boudreau. She was raised in Gladstone and was a 1996 graduate of the Christian Liberty Academy in Chicago. She continued her education at the Pensacola Christian College in Florida and she received her B.S.N. degree in 2000. Following graduation she returned to Gladstone and worked for O.S.F. Hospital in Escanaba as a R.N. on 2nd Floor South.
Jess was a loving person who enjoyed helping people, baking and being a mother and wife. She was a member of Big Sisters and Project Cuddle and she enjoyed playing the flute.
Survivors include: Husband: Don Lambert who she married on October 25, 2003 at First Lutheran Church in Gladstone; Daughter: 5 month old daughter Emma Kaye Lambert at home; Mother and Dad: Rita (Robert Lindahl) Boudreau of Gladstone; Biological Father: Kenneth P. Brunette of Escanaba; Brother: Jason (Fiancee: Heather Popour) Brunette of Gwinn. Step Son: Mike (Angie) Casey of Rapid River; Mother-In-Law: Joan Lambert of Gladstone; Grandmother: Carol Boudreau of Gladstone; Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Grandfather: Lloyd Boudreau Sr. In 2000, Father-in-law: Kenneth Lambert in 2000.
Jessica’s family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Jessica Lynne Lambert will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Jonathan Schmidt of First Lutheran Church officiating. Additional visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. for the Kenneth P. Brunette family to receive family and friends. Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells Twp. Memorials may be directed to the family. The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes are assisting the Lambert family.
