Lois A. Thomma Thiede, 70, of 5245 12th Rd. Escanaba died on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at the Christian Park Health Care Center.
She was born June 16, 1933 in Escanaba, the daughter of Gunner and Eva (Papineau) Peterson, and was one of fifteen children. Lois was married to Earl C. Thiede on June 23, 1984 and he survives.
She was a past member of the Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Lois enjoyed sewing, flowers and had a great love for her dog “Peppy”.
She leaves to survive her husband Earl. 4 Sons: Jack (Mary) Thomma of Soo Hill; Scott (Maria) Thomma of Danforth; James (Sandra) Thomma of Danforth; Todd (Beverly) Thomma of Green Bay, Wisc. 1 Daughter: Melinda (Jeff) Kallio of Soo Hill. 2 Brothers: Harold Peterson and Leslie (Eileen) Peterson both of Escanaba. 1 Sister: Virginia Levesque of Wells, Mich. 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Grandson: Jimmy Thomma in 2001 and 11 Brothers and Sisters.
Funeral Services for Lois A. Thiede will be held on Thursday, February 26th at 4:00 PM at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba with Rev. Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Visitation will continue following the service until 6:30 PM. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery
