Robert R. Bizeau, age 75, of 318 Minnesota Avenue, Gladstone, died Friday morning April 9, 2004 at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette where he was a patient. Robert was born June 12, 1928 in Gladstone the son of Louis and Viola (Clark) Bizeau Sr. He attended Gladstone Schools where he excelled in sports and was the quarterback for the Gladstone Braves Football Team. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 and returned to Gladstone and married the former Betty Lou Brown on April 16, 1955 and they made their residence in Gladstone. Betty Lou preceded him in
death on October 30, 1986.
Robert was a tool and die maker for Marble Arms Corporation for over 35 years. He was an avid Detroit sports fan and especially followed the Detroit Lions and Redwings. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his younger years he was a well know Log Roller Champion and to this day holds the record for staying on a log for the longest period of time.

1 Sister: Vivian Bizeau of New Port Richie, FL
7 Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents and wife, Betty Lou, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Louis Jr., Orville, Lyle and Glen.
According to Robert's wishes, no public visitation or services will be held. A private service will be held at the family home at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Gladstone American Legion Post #71 in memory of Robert R. Bizeau. The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes are assisting the Bizeau family.
