Anna M. Carroll, 77 of Escanaba died on Wednesday May 12,2004 at St. Francis Hospital, her husband of 59 years, Albert Carroll , 78 died on Tuesday May 25,2004 at the Christian Park Health Care Center.
Anna was born April 30, 1927 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and Albert was born February 13, 1926 in Port Huron, Michigan. They were married August 4, 1945. Together, they moved to Perkins in the 1960’s and then to Escanaba in the 1990’s. As a couple they enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. Anna was a wonderful cook and Albert was a classic car buff. He had also been a heavy equipment operator most of his working life and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union #324.
They leave to survive: 1 Daughter-in Law: Linda Lippens Grenfell of Escanaba. 1 Granddaughter: Lorri Carroll (Eugene Jr.) Merrell of Gladstone and 1 Grandson: Eric Shade of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Anna also leaves 1 sister: Helen Chomick of Allentown, Pa.
Albert leaves 2 Brothers: George E. Carroll of Manistique, Mich. and Henry (Sue) Carroll of Rogers City, Mich., 3 Sisters: Leola Lamb of Colorado; Bernadine (Dar) Shue of Galapse, Ohio ands Cleo Sheldon of Michigan.
Friends may call at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone on Tuesday, June 1st from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Memorial Funeral Services for Anna and Albert Carroll will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 PM Tuesday with Rev. Joanne Bartelt officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes are assisting the Carroll family.
