Virginia Elaine Ansell, age 73, of 502 S. 9th Street,
Escanaba, MI died Wednesday morning June 9, 2004 at
home following a lengthy illness with cancer.
Virginia was born August 30, 1930 in McMillan, MI the
daughter of Frederick and Sarah (Naganquaam) Cripps.
She was raised in the Thompson and Manistique area and
moved to Escanaba in 1964. She was a member of the
Escanaba Church of Christ and enjoyed making crafts
and working in her flower gardens. She loved to play
bingo and go to the casino.

Virginias family will receive friends on Friday from
4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in
Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of
Virginia Elaine Ansell will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the
Skradski Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Grambow of All
Saints Church in Gladstone officiating. Luncheon will
follow services in the All Saints Church Fellowship
Hall. Burial will be on Saturday at the Thompson
Cemetery in Thompson. The Skradski-Boyce Family
Funeral Homes are assisting the Ansell family.
