Ruth V. Bouchard, age 89, of 6770 N Road, Escanaba, MI (Soo Hill Area) died Thursday evening September 2, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Ruth was born January 14, 1915 in Escanaba the was a lifelong resident of Escanaba and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wells. She was employed by Harnishfiger Corporation and she enjoyed spending time outdoors feeding the deer and turkeys.
Survivors include:
1 granddaughter: Nancy Ann Young of Texas 1 great granddaughter: Cristine Young of Texas 1 brother: Thomas C. Peletier of Milwaukee, WI
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband’s, Desire LaFave and Lawrence Bouchard. Son: Herman LaFave and an infant son George
Ruth’s family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Ruth V. Bouchard will follow at 6:30 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Courier of St. Anthony Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
