Patrick Thomas Snyder, age 63, of Madison and former Escanaba, MI resident died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, September 26th, 2004. Patrick was born December Madison, WI
19th, 1940, the son of Walter and Ruth (DeLisle) Snyder. He was raised in Escanaba, attended St. Anne’s Elementary School and graduated in 1959 from Holy Name High School, After High School, he enlisted un the US Marine Corps.
Patrick was owner of the “Deck Doctor” of Madison and former owner of “Grandma’s Kitchen”. He was a former employee of Mead Paper Co in Escanaba and Soderholm Foods in Madison.
Patrick is survived by his father, Walter of Escanaba
1Son-Michael [Retired Army] (Patti) and grandchildren, Melissa, Andrew and Daniel
1 Daughter-Patty Sue (Sergio) Torres and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lillian, and Victoria of Florida
Step-Son; Scott (Mary Beth) Little and grandchildren, Kino and Cole of Madison
Special friend, Jerilynn Kortkamp, her grandmother, and children, Jennifer Dugan,
David (Melissa) Dugan.
Also a special aunt, Aunt Goldie Snyder and numerous special cousins, Charles, Matthew, Martha, Mary, Bobbie, Pam, Michelle, Susan, Elizabeth, Jerry, John, Susan,
Paul and Jackie.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1997 and was devoted to his beloved father, his family, and friends.
Patrick’s presence brightened everybody’s life. He was proud of his Irish and French heritage, and he had a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
A private visitation for family will be held on Friday, October 1st, 2004 at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba. A public Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph-St. Patrick Church in Escanaba with Rev. Fr. Richard Schaeffer officiating. Luncheon will follow services in the church parish hall. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery; Escanaba.
