Vayette L. (BUG) Davis 95 of 110 South 5th Street Escanaba, died at St. Francis Hospital of Thursday evening, October 14,2004 following a short illness.
She was born November 15,1908 in Burlington, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude (Mahrle) Phillips and was married to Lawrence Davis in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1986. Vayette had worked for the Three Rivers Hospital in Three Rivers, Michigan as an L,P.N. up until they moved to Escanaba in 1972 here she had resided ever since.
She leaves to survive: 1 Son: Mel (Jan) Davis of Escanaba, Michigan , 1 Daughter-In-Law: Leann Davis of Lanse, Michigan , 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by 1 son: Stuart Davis in 1999.
There will be no public visitation.
Services for Vayette Davis will be held at the convience of the family at a latter date.
The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Davis Family.
