Stanley Sweet, age 76, of Gulliver, MI passed away Tuesday November 30, 2004 at his home in Gulliver.
Stanley was born November 3, 1928 at Echo Twp, Antrim County, MI the son of Herbert and Belle (Murphy) Sweet. On February 7, 1953 he married Verna Leu in East Jordan, MI. He was a member of the Lake City, FL American Legion Post #0057.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Kenneth (Debra) Sweet of Scottsville, MI, Thomas (Karen) Sweet of Lake City, FL, a brother, Basil (Virginia) Sweet of Petoskey, MI, a sister, Kathleen Peck of Boyne City, MI, Sister-in-law, Betty Sweet of Grand Haven, MI, a brother-in-law, Joe (Mary) Leu of Mass City, MI, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lawrence and Versil.
According to Stan’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held at this time. Graveside services at Morehouse Cemetery, Antrim County, will be announced at a later date.
