Caroline Elizabeth Brazeau passed away on Tuesday, January 18,2005 at the Bishop Noa Home, Escanaba, following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 29,1906, in Escanaba, the daughter of John and Ida (Makosky) Waterstradt. She was a life long resident here.
Caroline was married to Paul Brazeau on July 25,1925. He preceded her in death on October 13,1993.
Survivers include 1 daughter; Shirley Couchene of Soo Hill
4 Sons: Paul (Kay) Brazeau of Royal Oak, Mich.; William (Nancy) Brazeau of Port Orange, Florida; Lloyd (Carol) Brazeau of West DePere, Wis.; Lowell (Jackie) Brazeau of Moreno Valley, Calif.
1 Daughter-in-law: Arletta Brazeau of Green Bay, Wisc.
1 Sister: Dorothy Makosky of Escanaba
1 Brother: Gilbert Waterstradt of Glendale, Ill.
15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren , several nieces and nephews
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Donald Brazeau who died on July 4,2003; 4 sisters: Marian, Catherine, Gertrude, Leila and 1 brother, Kenneth.
Friends may call at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba on Monday, January 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Parish Prayers will be receited at 7:30 PM Monday.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Caroline Brazeau will be held on Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Wells at 11:00 AM with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery. A Lunch will be served following the Mass in the Church Hall.
