Anita Trekas, age 90, of 806 Delta Avenue, Gladstone, MI died Thursday morning January 13, 2005 at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers where she had been a resident.
Anita was born July 12, 1914 in Oneida, WI the daughter of William and Ida (Springer) Haefs. She was united in marriage to Steve Trekas and they made their residence in Gladstone, Steve preceded her in death in 1969. She was an active member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gladstone.

Larry (Carol) Trekas of Gladstone
2 Daughters:
Vivian Look of Defuniak Springs, Florida
Norma (Bill) Malles of Park City, ILL
17 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren who she dearly loved.
Many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Steve and son Theodore, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters, 6 brothers and 2 grandchildren, Michael and Patrick O'Donnell.
Anita's family will receive friends on Saturday January 15, 2005 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Anita Trekas will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Paustian of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran
Church officiating. Burial will be in the spring of 2005 at Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba. Memorial
contributions may be directed to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Delta County Cancer Alliance, envelopes will be available at the Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes. |
