Candace “Candy” Dahlgren, age 38, of 501 Montana Avenue Gladstone, died Tuesday June 28, 2005 at her Father’s home in Gladstone following a battle with cancer.
Candy was born September 15, 1966, at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, the daughter of Richard and Joanne (Norton) Bergeon. She was raised in the Gladstone area and attended and graduated from the Gladstone schools. Following high school, Candy married Karl Dahlgren and together the couple made their home in North Carolina and then later in the Appleton area. After living in Appleton, Candy relocated back to Gladstone and eventually went to work for the Community Action Agency where she had been working as a secretary for the past 11 years. Her hobbies included, needle point, reading, baking, spending time outdoors, spending time with her children and family and on an occasion, taking a trip out to the casino. Candy was loved and admired by co-workers as well as friends and touched the lives of all she came into contact with in a special way. She will be sadly missed.

Candy was preceded in death by her mother Joanne and 1 sister, Connie Bergeon.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00AM to 12:30PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Candace Dahlgren will follow visitation, at 1:00PM, at All Saints Church in Gladstone with Fr. Arnold Grambow officiating. Luncheon will follow in the All Saints Church Fellowship Hall. Committal will be in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone following luncheon. Memorial contribution can be directed to the Dahlgren family and/or the Delta County Cancer Alliance.
