James V. Lang 58 of 1106 South 15th Street Escanaba, died at home on Sunday June 26, 2005 following a lenthly illness.

He was born August 21,1946 in Escanaba the son of Dr. Vernon and Clara (Labine) Lang and was married to the former Julie Pakarinen on February 12,1966. An Eagle Scout himself he was a Cub Scout Leader for Pack #411 and the voice of the Pinewood Derby for many years. In the middle to late 60’s he was the local Race Car Announcer at the Fairgrounds. Jim enjoyed telling “Stories” and was an excelent chef.

He leaves to survive his wife of 39 years Julie

His Father: Dr Vernon J. Lang of Escanaba.

He was preceded in death by his Mother: Clara in 1997 and a Brother: Thomas Lang in 2000.

There will be no public visitation. Services for James Lang will be held at the convience of the family.
