William Grant “Bill” (Zemjla, Rebel) Lee Jr., age 39, of 11061 North River Lane, Cornell, MI died Sunday October 30, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. William was born November 29, 1965 in Bridgeport, CT. the son of William Grant and Dr. Carole Anne (Farkas) Lee Sr. He was raised in Bridgeport and moved to Delta County his junior year of high school and graduated in 1984 from the James R. Fitzharris High School in Gladstone. Following graduation he attended Bay de Noc College in Escanaba.
In 2000, Bill was a radio personality for Mix 106.3 on the Morning Mad House. He also owned his own painting company, L.A. Painting. Bill had a lifelong passion for music. He loved to spend his free time playing his guitar, riding his Harley, as well as mountain bike riding. Bill was an extensive traveler and traveled most of the United States, but always returned to Escanaba which he always found to be his home. He was a beautiful free-spirited person who had a natural gift for making people laugh. Bill’s passionate listening ability, infectious laugh, and soft, caring heart will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all of those who loved him so.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Dr. Carole Lee.
Bill’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of William “Bill” Lee will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Mr. John Farkas leading the services along with other family members and friends.
Luncheon will follow services at the Hereford and Hops restaurant in Escanaba. A special die hard Bill Lee style party will follow luncheon around 2:30 at Pacino’s Pub at the Best Western Hotel in Escanaba.
