Jacqulyn S. “Jackie” Bell, age 67, of 6018 27.15 Lane, Brampton, MI died Thursday morning November 3, 2005 at home following a brief illness.

Jacqulyn was born December 3, 1937 in Escanaba, MI the daughter of Victor and June (Dausey) Goodreau. She was raised in Escanaba and was a 1956 graduate of Escanaba High School. Jackie was united in marriage to Thomas Bell Sr. on July 14, 1956 at the First United Methodist Church in Escanaba and they made their residence in Escanaba. In her younger years she worked as a route service rep. for Corning Metpath Clinical Labs.

Jackie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Escanaba and her hobbies included attending auctions and collecting antique glass. Her family was very special to her especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Tom, survivors include:

1 Son: Tom (Jani) Bell Jr. of Brampton

2 Daughters: Peggy and Jody both of Gladstone

1 Sister: Beverly (Melvin) Larson of Escanaba

9 Grandchildren: Jackie (Tommy) Lavigne, Lindsay, Tom III, Michael, Samantha, Terri, Amber, Peter and Sydney.

3 Great Grandchildren: Teagan, Mackenzie and Hannah.

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Joy Budz.

Jackie’s family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist
Church in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Jacqulyn S. Bell will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Laub officiating. Luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells, MI. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the church or at the Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes in Gladstone or Escanaba.
