Janet L. Albright, age 67, of 10429 South 81st Court, Palos Hills, IL died Monday evening January 2, 2006 at the Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.
Janet was born August 5, 1938 in Escanaba, the daughter of Lawrence and Louise (DeCook) Corbiel, and she was raised in Gladstone where she attended school at Gladstone High School.
She was united in marriage to Billy J. Albright on October 7, 1972 in Chicago and they made their residence in Palos Hills, IL. Janet was employed as a bookkeeper for over 25 years for Citgo, Suburban, and Petrolane Propane Gas Company’s, retiring in 1995.
Janet enjoyed all types of fishing, reading, and working crossword puzzles. She treasured spending time with her family and loved to travel. She was a member of the Chicago Moose Lodge #44.

6 daughters: Bonnie (Steven) Trobe of Pittsford, N.Y and their children Alexandra and Yvonne; Katherine (Robert) Farris of Alsip, IL and their children Kristina and Robbie; Laurie (Joseph) LaPorte of Alsip, IL and their children Melissa, Joey and Eric; Sandra (Adam) Pielet of Burr Ridge, IL and their
children Paige and Sam; Jill (Robert) Shank of Yorkville, IL and their son Joshua; Jessica (Stan) Rygula of Midlothian, IL and their children Jacob and Chase
3 Sons: Ivan (Mary Therese) Majestic of Franktown, CO and their son Thomas; David (Patricia) Majestic of Oswego, IL and their children Michaelene and Samantha; Jason (Youngsuk) Albright of El Paso, TX and their son Jamie
3 Great Grandchildren: Madison, Bailey and Peyton
2 Sisters: Midge (Robert) Stone of Rapid River, MI; Barbara (Allen) Brace of Wausau, WI
1 Brother: Joseph (Beverly) Corbiel of Clarkston, MI

Brother: Lawrence “Larry” Corbiel Jr. in 1969
Janet’s family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and also on Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. at the Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Janet L. Albright will follow on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba with Rev. Jonathan Schmidt of the First Lutheran Church officiating. Committal services will follow at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells, MI.
