Victor J. Srock, age 90, formerly of 1617 16th Avenue South, Escanaba passed away Wednesday March 29, 2006 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba where he has been a resident for the past 2 1/2 years.

Victor was born August 10, 1915 in Gladstone the son of Joseph and Mary (Marcella) Srock. He worked at the Buckeye Mill, CCC’s, sailed the Great Lakes and spent 3 1/2 years in the Air Force during WW II. Victor worked at the Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee for 28 years and moved back to the area after his retirement in 1975.

Victor married the former Arlene Hammerberg in 1946 and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2004. Victor is survived by a daughter, Janice Frankfourth of Milwaukee, 2 grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, 4 sisters and 3 brother preceded him in death.

Private visitation and funeral services will be held at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone with Rev. Arnold Grambow officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
