Bonnie Lou Clouse, age 65, of Gladstone, MI died Tuesday evening April 25, 2006 at home following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Bonnie was born October 5, 1940 in Pontiac, MI the daughter of the late Erving and Violet (Miller) Rowden. She was raised in Lake Orion, MI where she was a 1958 graduate of Lake Orion High School. While at Lake Orion High School she was active in the chorus where she played the piano and sang. In her younger years she also taught roller skating lessons.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Mack R. Clouse on May 20, 1961 at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church and they made their home in Lake Orion where they raised their seven children. In 1992 they moved to Gladstone. Bonnie was a member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, Lake Orion Eagles and the Lake Orion JC’s. She loved making craft’s and she especially enjoyed making doll’s for her grandchildren. Her hobbies included crocheting,
knitting and going to the casino.

6 Daughters: Jean (Michael) Mansfield of Nashua, N.H.; Julie Kaltner of Lake Orion, MI; Joy McCellan of Lake Orion, MI; Jill (Kevin) Yonts of Monroe, MI; Jessica (Joseph) Rawlings of Lake Orion, MI; Janel Clouse of Gladstone
1 Brother: Joseph (Florence) Rowden of Lake Orion, MI
2 Sisters: Diane (Gene) Cookston of Highland, MI; Connie (Don) Renteria of Ortonville, MI
5 Granddaughters: Amanda Kaltner, Natasha Strahan, Courtney Mansfield, Gabrielle Clouse and Hannah Harley.
9 Grandsons: Bradley McClellan, Victor Brown, Joseph Kaltner, Jeffrey Brown, Jeremy Clouse, Matthew Mansfield, Jacob Harley, Scott Mroz and Philip Mansfield.
2 Step grandchildren: Brittany and Lance Rawlings
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mother-in-law: Evelyn Clouse-Zella of Rapid River
Bonnie’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Visitation will also be held on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Bonnie Lou Clouse will follow at 5:00 P.M. at the Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Joanne Bartelt officiating. A luncheon will follow services in the church fellowship hall.
