Elaine June Larson, age 73, of 6862 Days River 24.5 Road, Gladstone, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday April 4, 2006 in Escanaba. Elaine was born June 1, 1932 in Gladstone the daughter of Sander and Bada (Lamberg) Larson.

Elaine attended school in Kipling and the Days River School and she lived on the family farm her whole life. She loved cooking for her family and friends and they always looked forward to her ginger snaps, oatmeal cookies and homemade bread. She loved working in her garden, especially with her flowers, and she enjoyed canning her vegetables from her garden.

She will be sadly missed by several cousins and a special friend Sharon Sharkey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Gilbert on April 26, 1986, James on September 10, 2004 and Gordon and Norman who died as young children.

Elaine's family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Elaine June Larson will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Schmidt of the First Lutheran Church officiating. A luncheon will follow services at the First Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
