Irene M. “Sue” Rowland, age 62, of 5851 Chaison Rd.; Gladstone, died Wednesday, May 24th, 2006 at Marquette eneral Hospital. Sue was born May 23rd, 1944 in Gladstone, the daughter of Elmer and Margaret (Waltenbaughbritz) Belanger and resided most of her life in Gladstone. Willow Creek Apts. Escanaba was her residence for 4 years before she became a patient at the Christian Park Health Care Center.

In her leisure, Sue enjoyed reading, ceramics, and gardening. In earlier years she also was a Cub Scout Leader and a Foster Mother. Sue was of the Baptist faith.

The family of Irene “Sue” Roland will receive friends on Tuesday at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. Services celebrating her life will follow on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Patrick of the Grace Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery; Wells.
