Mary Bricker age 65, of 3887 Hwy M35, Escanaba (Ford River), died early Friday morning June 30, 2006 at her residence in Ford River.

Mary was born December 9, 1940, in Rapid River, the daughter of Leon and Dorothy (Godfrey) Micheau. At the age of 2 years, Mary’s family relocated to Escanaba where Mary attended the Escanaba schools. In February of 1959, Mary wed David Bricker, in Gladstone, and together the couple resided and raised their family in the Escanaba and Ford River areas. David preceded Mary in death on December 9, 2005. Mary remained in Ford River and had resided there for the past 25 years. Mary loved her family and enjoyed spending a considerable amount of time with her grandchildren. Mary loved to play bingo and in her earlier years she enjoyed ice fishing.

4 Sons: David Bricker Jr. of Escanaba; Kevin Bricker of Gladstone; Gregory Bricker of Escanaba; Douglas (Kim) Bricker of Ford River

1 Brother: Robert Micheau

2 Sisters: Doris Pratt; Barbara (Dave) Lamberg of Gladstone

Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Tanisha, Justin and Heather Bricker and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Leon Micheau and her husband David Bricker Sr.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Bricker will be held at the convenience of the Bricker family. The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Bricker family with arrangements.
