Deloris Diane “Dee Dee” St. Cyr, age 50, of 7383 J. Road, Gladstone, died Wednesday morning November 29, 2006 at her home following a lengthy illness with cancer.
Deloris was born August 8, 1956 in Quinter, Kansas the daughter of Thomas D. and Roberta J. (Rabitoy) Hartman. Deloris moved with her family at the age of 3 to Gladstone where she was a 1974 graduate of the Gladstone High School. Deloris worked for the Delona Restaurant for many years and was also self -employed for several years following her employment at the Delona. Delores was united in marriage to Perry St. Cyr on August 13, 1982 and for the past 10 years they have resided at Stevens Lake located in the Hiawatha Forest.
“Dee Dee” enjoyed going on 4-wheeler and snowmobile trips to Cooks, Big Springs and Boot Lake. She loved going to the casino and was also an active member with the U.P. Garden Tractor Pullers. “Dee Dee” is remembered for spending time sitting around the campfire with family and friends and she would usually be the last one to put the fire out. She was a young hearted grandmother who treasured spending many hours playing games with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister Linda Hartman in 1984 and her father-in-law, Floyd St. Cyr.
Deloris’s family will receive friends on Sunday December 3, 2006 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Parish prayers will follow visitation at 5:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial services celebrating the life of Deloris Diane St. Cyr will be held on Monday morning at 11:00 A.M. at the All Saints Church in Gladstone with Rev. Fr. Arnold Grambow officiating. Luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. Entombment will be at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells.
