Linda Marie Johnson, age 52 of South 29th Street in Gladstone passed on to the hands of her Heavenly Father through his son Jesus Christ on Friday, January 5, 2007 at her home.

Linda was born May 9, 1954 in Escanaba, MI to Theodore and Eleanor (Peterson) Johnson. Throughout Linda’s life she was involved with the association of retard children and made many dear friends. She was loved and treasured by her family, especially by her two older sisters with whom she lived with for many years. She in turn loved and cherished her family and friends and was always helpful and caring.

With Linda’s death , God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ have prepared a special place beyond the Pearly Gates for her where she will meet with her mom and dad. Linda’s family is very grateful for the attention and care given to Linda in her final days by the Hospice Association of St. Francis Hospital, the Cornerstone Community Church as well as the First Lutheran Church.

Linda is survived by:

3 Sisters: Carolyn and Ruth, both of Gladstone; Katherine (David) Schuld of Hartford, MI

2 Brothers: John (Irma) Johnson of Texas; William (Sheila) Johnson of Lansing, MI

3 Nephews and 2 Nieces

Including her parents Linda was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Katherine Johnson

Funeral Services for Linda will be Monday, January 8, 2007 at 6:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church in Gladstone. Linda’s family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 at the church. Linda will be laid to rest at Fernwood Cemetery near her parents and sister. The Johnson family has been assisted by the Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County.
