Richard Charles LaCasper, age 84, of 26.5 Lane, in Brampton passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the St. Francis Hospital.
Richard was born August 7, 1922 in Detroit and graduated from Dearborn High School. Following graduation he served his country proudly in the U.S. Army with the military policeman in Japan during World War II. A few years after returning from the war, Richard married the love of his life, Minnie Moore, on February 25, 1949 in Angola, Indiana. Richard and Minnie enjoyed many wonderful years together. They spent a few years living in the Detroit area before moving to Hartford, MI in 1957, then Gulliver, MI in 1965, where they lived for over 20 years and the finally settling in the Gladstone area.. Richard was a member of the Gladstone V.F.W. and enjoyed traveling, doing things around the house, talking and telling stories and was an avid reader.

Joan Eben of Daytona Beach, Florida
Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services for Richard will be Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Gladstone with Rev. Ellen Jensen officiating. Refreshments will be served immediately following the services at the church. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. The LaCasper family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral home in Gladstone.
