Norma Jean Moore, age 78, of 2985 Finn Hall 38th Road, Rock, MI died at home Saturday January 13, 2007. Norma was born April 16, 1928 in Lima, Ohio the daughter of Olin and Millie Van Pelt. She was raised in Detroit and she was a 1945 graduate of the Redford Township High School. Norma was united in marriage to William Moore on February 5, 1949 and they made their home in Detroit until 1970 when they moved to Rock. William preceded her in death on August 20, 1999. Norma enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include:

2 Sons: David (Lynn) Moore of Escanaba; John (Marla) Moore of Rock

6 Grandchildren: Ian, Lauren, Josh, Jody, Jenny Moore, and Jackie (P.J.) Dahm

In addition to her parents and husband William, she was preceded in death by a brother Jack in 1971 and 2 sisters, Pat Simmons and Beverly Weinsheimer, both in 2002.

According to Mrs. Moore’s wishes a private service be held by the family. The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Moore family with arrangements.
