James W. Duchaine, age 77, of Escanaba and currently residing in Rapid River , died March 7th, 2007 at home of an apparent heart attack. He was born November 6th, 1928 in Escanaba, the son of William and Helen (Holmes) Duchaine and was raised in the Escanaba area. William Duchaine was the editor of the “Escanaba Daily Press” many years ago.  

James was a veteran of the United States Marines and served during the early 1950’s and during his working life, he was employed in text-book sales for a number of years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Berge.

James W. Duchaine’s survivors include:

1 Brother- Richard (Pamela) Duchaine of Green Valley, AZ

1 Sister- Barbara (Henry) Foster of Needham, Mass.

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family and the Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Duchaine family.
