Tom H. Bizeau, age 83, of 616 North 8th Street in Gladstone passed away Friday morning, August 17, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family.
Tom was born May 12, 1924 in Gladstone to Lewis and Viola (Clark) Bizeau. He was a lifelong resident of Gladstone except for the years he served his country proudly in the United States Army Air Force. Tom was a veteran of World War II serving from December 10, 1942 until February 7, 1946. He was the recipient of the American Theater Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Distinguished Unit Badge. Before joining the Army, Tom worked for the CCC Camps at Camp Morman Creek in 1941. After the war Tom was blessed with a 60 year marriage to Mildred "Midge" Moreau that began on August 23, 1947 at the All Saints Catholic Church. He also worked at the Buckeye Mill from 1946 until 1959 and as a fork lift driver at the Harnischfeger Corporation from 1959 until his retirement in 1983. Tom’s family was the center of his life and he will always be remembered as a Good Son, Good Husband, Good Father and Good Grandfather.

1 Sister: Vivian Bizeau of Gladstone

A Private Memorial Service will be conducted for Tom at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
