Rosemary G. Schultz, age 78, of 510 1st Avenue South (Harbor Tower), died Sunday evening August 19, 2007 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Rosemary was born March 9, 1929, in Munising, the daughter of Clarence and Laura (Donovan) Sandborn.  She was raised in Cornell and attended the St. Joseph Catholic Schools.  On April 26, 1947, Rosemary was united in marriage to Raymond Shultz and together the couple made their home and raised their family in the Cornell area.  Throughout her life, Rosemary had various occupations that she enjoyed.  However, her family remembers her most as a homemaker.  Following Raymond’s death in 1981, Rosemary relocated to Green Bay, for a short period of time, before returning to the Escanaba area where she resided for the remainder of her years.    
 
Survivors include:

3 Sons:  Sanford (Vikki) Schultz of Brampton, MI
              John (Connie) Schultz of Mishicot, WI
              James Schultz of Florida

7 Grandchildren:  Desi Schultz of Gladstone, MI
                               Amy (Jason) Churchill of Saginaw, MI
                               David (Jill) Schultz of Petoskey, MI
                               Lynn Schultz of Spring Hill, TN
                               Emily Schultz of Green Bay, WI
                               Brian Schultz of Mishicot, WI
                               Sarah Schultz of Mishicot, WI

2 Great Grandchildren:  Grant and Tommy Churchill

Daughter-in-law:  Sue (Bill) Cook of Escanaba, MI

Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. 
 
In addition to her parents, Clarence and Laura and her loving husband Raymond, Rosemary was preceded in death by:

1 Brother:  James Sandborn
 
The Schultz family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba.  Funeral services celebrating the life of Rosemary G. Schultz will follow visitation, at 7:00PM, at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home, with Rev. Fr. Eric Olsen of the St. Joseph St. Patrick Parish officiating.  Luncheon will be announced following funeral services.  Rosemary will be laid to rest on Friday, at 11:00AM, at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells.  The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Schultz family with arrangements.
