Cyndie L. Rivera, age 40, of #2 Armeria Street; Gladstone, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 1st, 2007 at home following a year and a half illness.
Cyndie was born October 23rd, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Ralph and Geraldine (Gilbert) Domenzain and was raised in the L.A. area. She later resided in Spain for several years before returning “state-side” again to Los Angeles. In December of 1992, Cyndie relocated to Delta County.
Cyndie was an active member of All Saints Church and taught in the CCD program there. She also served as a chairperson for the church funeral committee. In addition she participated in after school programs for children for the Gladstone Area Public School System.
Family and friends remember her as having an effervescent personality and having an over-all regard for the love of life. Her family was her primary focus and she was known to have a “heart of gold”, willing to help anyone.
In her leisure, Cyndie liked to cook, play video games, and craftwork. With her general love of animals, her dogs, “Chomper” and “Bear”, were of special importance to her as well.

Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family of Cyndie Rivera will receive friends on Friday at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at All Saints Church with Rev. Fr. Arnold Grambow officiating. Luncheon will follow services in the All Saints Parish Hall. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery.
