Beverly "Bev" Heslip, age 65, of Escanaba passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Christian Park Center in Escanaba.

Bev was born September 29, 1942 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Norman and Rose (Jorah) Peterson. Bev loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren and her friends at Harbor Tower. She also enjoyed sewing.

Bev is survived by:

2 Sons: Everett Heslip of Wausau, WI; Bill Heslip

Several Grandchildren

Her Mother: Rose Petersen of Ishpeming, MI

2 Brothers: Robert (Debbie) Petersen of Beloit, WI; Ronald Petersen of Humboldt, MI

1 Sister: Bonnie (Charles) Carr of Champion, MI

Numerous Nieces and Nephews

Good Friends: James Heslip of Gladstone; Linda Hahn of Gladstone

She is preceded in death by a daughter, June Boudreau; her father, Norman Petersen and a niece, Colleen Schaeffer.

Memorial Services for Bev will be Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba. Bev’s family will receive friends just prior to the service. Bev will be laid to rest at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in the spring.
