Eve M. Kyatt, age 100, of 1600 South 30th Street, Escanaba, died early Wednesday morning April 30, 2008, at the Christian Park Village, where she has resided since 2005.
Eve was born, February 26, 1908, in Berglund, MI, the daughter of Alfred and Eva (Walker) Olson. She was raised in Berglund and attended the Berglund School System. In September of 1932, Eve was united in marriage to Henry Kyatt and together the couple began their life together by honeymooning to various destinations throughout the world. Following their honeymoon, Eve and Henry made their home in Chicago. Henry preceded Eve in death in November of 1970. After Henry’s death, Eve continued to reside in the Chicago area until October of 1995, at which time, Eve relocated to Delta County where she remained solely independent until her move to Christian Park Village in 2005.

1 Brother: Wilber (Dorie) Olson of Wakefield, MI
Also surviving are Eve’s loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Alfred and Eva and her loving husband, Henry, Eve was preceded in death by:
2 Brothers: Sidney and Edward Olson
3 Sisters: Mildred Close, Dorothy Goudreau, Willow Burk
Eve’s family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Eve M. Kyatt will follow visitation, at 4:00PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home, with Rev. Jonathan Schmidt of the First Lutheran Church, officiating. Eve will be laid to rest at the All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL. The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Kyatt family with arrangements.
