Linda S. Noggle, age 58, of 4852 18th Road, Escanaba (Soo Hill), died peacefully Thursday morning April 24, 2008, at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Linda was born October 14, 1949, in Escanaba, the daughter of Clarence and Joanne (Reno) Robitaille. She was raised in Escanaba and attended and graduated from the Escanaba Senior High School, class of 1967. On August 16, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to James Noggle at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wells. Following their marriage, Linda and James made their home and began their family in the Escanaba area. Throughout her life, Linda worked primarily as a homemaker keeping her home and raising her sons, Jeff and Jeremy. In the early 1990’s, Linda acquired a position at JoAnn Fabric, working as a sales clerk for over ten years until her health began to decline in 2002. Linda was a member of the Escanaba Lions Club and the Berean Baptist Church, for many years. In addition, Linda spent many hours of her time sewing, knitting, quilting and doing craftwork. She loved to spend quality time with her family and grandchildren and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

4 Sisters: Diane Bailey of Escanaba, MI, Janis (Tony) DeGrand of Escanaba, MI, Nancy (Tom) Stropich of Spalding, MI, Donna (Ron) Meyette of Manitowoc, WI
Also listed among Linda’s surviving family are 2 grandchildren, Jasmen and Kylian and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Joanne and her sister Carol Hardwick.
The Noggle family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30PM to 3:30PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda S. Noggle will follow visitation, at 3:30PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home, with Pastor Darin Kelsey of the Berean Baptist Church officiating. Luncheon will follow at the Berean Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Soo Hill. Linda will be laid to rest in the Escanaba Township Cemetery (Flat Rock). Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be directed to the Berean Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the Skradski Funeral Home throughout Sunday’s visitation. The Skradski Family Funeral Home of Delta County are assisting the Noggle family with arrangements.
