Pauline Webber
Resided in Trenary, MI
Died April 21, 2008


Pauline B. Webber, age 81, of N 475 Gregg Road; Rapid River (Trenary) died peacefully at home at 3:32 p.m. Monday, April 21st, 2008 surrounded by her family.

Pauline was born October 1st, 1926 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, the daughter of William and Eva (Carrier) Gamache and later was a graduate of the Trenary High School. On October 1st, 1946, she married her husband of 61 years, George J. Webber, at St. Rita Church in Trenary.

Pauline’s family fondly remembers her as a wonderful home-maker who enjoyed spending time with her family. Her children remember her wonderful ability as a cook and seamstress. She was always home when they came home from school at the end of the school day.

She also was an excellent card-player and she liked  to teach her family, especially her grandchildren, to play various card-games, including cribbage, smear, and poker.

All her grandchildren were a special source of joy for her.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, George, Pauline leaves to survive:

7 Children- Pamela (James) Coppock of Iron Mountain, Robert (Karlene) Webber of Trenary, Paulette (Nick) Boravich of Trenary, Karen (Leroy) Ruska of Trenary, Sandy (Larry Reeb) Webber of DePere, WI, Jeanne (Pat) Conine of Porttersfield, WI, Gerald (Pam) Webber of Trenary

and16 grandchildren and 9 grandchildren.

Pauline is also survived by two brothers; Peter (Sharon) Gamache of Gladstone and Harold Gamache of  Mesa, Arizona; and by sisters-in-law, Belle Gamache of Gladstone and Pauline M. Webber of Trenary; and by nieces and nephews.

The family of Pauline B. Webber will receive friends on Friday at St. Rita Church in Trenary from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Rita Church with Rev, Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating. Burial will be in the Trenary Cemetery and luncheon will be served following the graveside services. The Webber family wishes to extend a special thank you to Northwoods Home Nursing for their care and thoughtfulness. Accordingly, the family respectfully requests memorials in Pauline’s behalf be directed to Northwoods Home and Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church or at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Homes of Delta County who are assisting the Webber family. The family also wishes to acknowledge the special care and love that “Jake” has shown to his grandmother over the years in good times and in recent times of illness.
