Linda Carol “Ms. Linda” Ehrhardt, age 60, of 7803 Lake Bluff 19.4 Road, Gladstone, Michigan died on Saturday as a result of an auto / motorcycle accident outside the Escanaba city limits.
Linda was born October 30, 1947 in Daggett, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Ludwig) Gumbert. She was raised on the family farm in Carney and was a 1965 graduate of Carney-Nadeau High School. She later went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Michigan University in 1990.
Linda’s working career included working for Marmen Computing in Menominee, and Mead Paper Company in Escanaba, where she worked on the Y2K project. Prior to her retirement she had worked out of her home as an independent contractor and technical writer.
Linda was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church in Gladstone and also did missionary work in Mexico with a team from Grace Baptist. She was also a member of Escanaba G.F.W.C.
Linda loved the outdoors, and she especially enjoyed motorcycling, skiing and sailing. Her hobbies included reading, working with stained glass, crocheting and traveling. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

“Special Grandson” Eric Lutz of Rapid River
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Gumbert in 1975.
Linda’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29th from 2:00 to 5:30 PM EDT at the Skradski Funeral Home, 706 Wisconsin Ave, Gladstone, Michigan. Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda Carol Ehrhardt will follow at 6:00 PM EDT at the Grace Baptist Church in Gladstone with Rev. Dr. Steve Patrick and Rev. Kevin McIlhaney officiating. Luncheon will follow services at the Gladstone Yacht Club. Memorial contributions in memory of Linda may be directed to the Linda Ehrhardt Memorial Fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home or church.
