Suzanne M. Ketcham, age 55, of 513 North 11th Street, Gladstone, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning May 29, 2008, at the St. Francis Hospital following complications of an abdominal aneurysm.
Sue was born January 25, 1953, in Escanaba, the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara (Garvey) Johnson. Sue was raised, the majority of her adolescent years, in Gladstone where she attended the Gladstone school system. Following school, Sue married Ron Ketcham Sr. and together the couple relocated to Chicago, for a short period of time, before returning to Gladstone to make their home and continue to raise their family. Sue was employed for the Pine Haven Rest Home in Gladstone. She enjoyed relaxing with her cats, Clair, Francis and Noah (whom Sue would fondly refer to as "Mischief") and spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

Former Husband and father to Sue’s children: Ron Ketcham Sr. of Escanaba
In addition, survivors include many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sue’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Suzanne M. Ketcham will follow visitation, at 1:00PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home, with Rev. Fr. Arnold Grambow of the All Saints Catholic Church officiating. Due to construction at All Saints Church, luncheon will follow at the First Lutheran Church in Gladstone. Committal rites will take place on Monday, at 10:30AM, at the Rapid River Cemetery. Contributions in Sue’s name may be directed to the Delta County Cancer Alliance or the Delta County Animal Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the Skradski Funeral Home throughout Saturday’s visitation. The Skradski-Boyce Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Ketcham family with arrangements.
