Roselynn Mary Lindstrom, age 66, of 3867 14.5 Road, Escanaba, passed away Monday June 2, 2008 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.

Roselynn was born March 24, 1942 in Escanaba, MI to Ted and Norine (Barth) Lindstrom. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed teaching and helping students. She began her teaching career as a student teacher in Escanaba and later she taught at the Bishop Manogue Catholic High School in Reno, Nevada and in the math department at the TMCC, a community college in Reno, Nevada.

Daughter: Colleen (Shawn Allen) Lindstrom of Sparks, Nevada
Mother: Norine McGee of Escanaba
Sister: Nancy (Alan “Rick”) Gilbert of Escanaba
Brother: David (Lisa) Lindstrom of Galesburg, IL
Two nieces: Jenny (Mark) Schwark and Sara Lindstrom
One nephew: John (Melissa) Lindstrom

She was preceded in death by her father Ted Lindstrom and several aunts and uncles.

The Lindstrom family will receive friends on Thursday, June 12 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Escanaba. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. Fr. Corey Litzner and Rev. Fr. George Wolf officiating. A luncheon will be served in the church fellowship hall immediately following services. Roselynn will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Escanaba. Memorial contributions in Roselynn’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Center, 640 Jackson Street, St. Paul, MN 55101 or the Alzheimer’s Unit at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.
