Marlene A. Demeuse, age 72, of 903 Minnesota Avenue, Gladstone, died Saturday evening August 2, 2008, at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Marlene was born December 4, 1935, in Perkins, the daughter of Stanley and Pearl (Kinnart) Deloria. She was raised in Perkins and attended and graduated from the Perkins High School. On April 12, 1958, Marlene was united in marriage to Robert Demeuse and together the couple made their home, raised their family and spent their entire lives in the Gladstone area. Marlene will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.

3 Sons: Daryl (Connie) Demeuse of Kipling, MI; Randy (Jayne) Demeuse of Gladstone, MI; Bruce (Tami) Demeuse of Bark River, MI

1 Daughter: Lisa Demeuse of Gladstone, MI

3 Brothers: Norbert (Gail) Deloria of Daggett, MI; Ron (Lynn) Deloria of Kingsford, MI; Dale (Judy) Deloria of Wells, MI

5 Grandchildren: Joshua (Becky), Shaunna, Ashley (Joe), Summer and Dustin

1 Great Granddaughter: Emily

In addition, Marlene is survived by her former husband, Robert and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Pearl.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Marlene A. Demeuse will be held at the convenience of the Demeuse family. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are in care of arrangements.
