Gloria Jean (Hager) Jasko, age 55, of 5225 18.9 Lane, Gladstone (formerly of Trenary) died Sunday morning September 21, 2008 at home following a short illness with cancer.

Gloria was born July 12, 1953 in Honolulu, HI the daughter of Martin and Neola (Holmquist) Eaton.  Gloria was raised in Trenary, and she was a 1971 graduate of Trenary High School.  Following graduation, Gloria was married to Alan Hager and they resided in Trenary where they raised their daughter Lynette.

Gloria was united in marriage to William “Bill” Jasko on June 7, 2003 and they relocated to their current location in Gladstone in 2006.

Gloria had worked at the Trenary Post Office until rheumatoid arthritis prevented her from working.  She also served on the Trenary Outhouse Classic Committee for numerous years.

Gloria enjoyed home decorating, remodeling, spending time at camp and craft making.

Gloria treasured spending time with family and friends.  She was a best friend to many, and she touched many people’s hearts.  She will be sadly missed.

4 sisters: Karlene (Robert) Webber of Trenary; Elizabeth “Bette” (Richard) McKenney of Menominee; Tina (Mike) Hakanen of Chatham; Sue Brisson of Trenary

Mother-in-law: Mary Ann Jasko of Avon Lake, OH

Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Special companion, “Brandi”and granddog, “Duke”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Eugene C. Juntunen.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday September 24, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.  Funeral services celebrating the life of Gloria Jean Jasko will follow at 6:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating.   Memorial contributions in memory of Gloria may be directed to the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.
