Julie Parrett, age 88, of 7876 Washington Street in Rapid River passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba.

Julie is survived by her loving family which includes:

3 Sons: Chuck (Pat) Parrett of Rapid River; John (Mary Ann) Parrett of Rapid River; Chris (Kami) Parrett of Rapid River

5 Grandchildren: Mike (Sherri) Parrett, Kristin (Sean) Brace, Eric (Janice) Parrett, Stacy Parrett and Chad (Michelle) Parrett

6 Great Grandchildren: Joshua Parrett, Kloe Brace, Rachael, Renae and Raegan Parrett and Lee Parrett

2 Sisters: Gertrude Hayes of Rapid River; Rita Kish of Riverside, California

Numerous Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Parrett Sr. on March 21, 1999; a brother, Ernest “Bud” LaViolette and a sister, Mary Wood.

Julie was a longtime, faithful member of St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church in Rapid River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church on Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Fr. Jacek Wytklo officiating. A luncheon will be served immediately following services in the church fellowship hall. The Skradski Funeral Home is assisting the Parrett family.
