Doris Dittrich, age 90, of Escanaba passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at St. Jude's Adult Foster Care.

Doris was born September 28, 1918 in Hyde to Emil and Linnea (Johnson) Dittrich. She was a lifelong resident of the Escanaba area and a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba. She enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch and animals, such as cats and dogs. Doris especially enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends at St. Jude's and her church family at Bethany Lutheran.

Doris is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Dayton Dittrich and her sister, Nancy Goymerac.

Doris' family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Mai officiating. Doris will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba.
