Christine M. Peters, age 61, of 204 North 21st Street, Escanaba passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Marquette General Hospital.

Christine was born December 11, 1947 in Escanaba to Arthur and Effie (Valiquette) Beauvais. Christine loved spending time with her family, playing dice and card games and especially spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo.

Christine is survived by three daughters, Tracy Peters of Escanaba, Valerie Peters of Savannah, Missouri and Kerri Peters of Escanaba; one son, Bobby Peters of Escanaba, five grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, Andrew, Edward and Arrick Colson; her parents, five brothers, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba.
