Fannie Vardian, age 86, of Elder Inn in Rapid River passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009.

Fannie was born in Kipling, Michigan on November 24, 1922 to Frank and Stefania (Triniastic) Lagina.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Neuhaus of Sonoma, California, two sons, David Vardian of Iron Mountain, MI and Joe Vardian of Brampton Township, MI, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, her parents, a sister and a brother.

Upon family requests there will be no services. Fannie will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.

Memorial contributions in Fannie’s name may be directed to St. Judes.
