Beatrice V. Moore, age 93, of 14649 24th Road, Rapid River and currently residing with her son in Covington, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday morning June 21, 2009 at the Northstar Hospital in Iron River.
Our beloved mother, sister and grandmother has passed to heaven where there is no more worldly suffering. Her 93 years of life was filled with tragedy, pain, suffering and also many rewards and love. Her intelligent mind wanted to continue but her physical body could take no more. Mom’s life was extended through miracles that no one could explain. Her love for her family made her endure much suffering because she knew we could not let her go. God made the decision for us and took her very peacefully in her sleep. The suffering has ended for her and we must be strong in our life as she was. Her faith in God was enduring. Her prayers every night were for others as she named everyone in her family, each and every night. Her only prayers to God for herself were ones to ask to help ease her pain. She endured dialysis for three and one half years and never complained about going. Mom’s big brown eyes and her forever smile will never be forgotten but cherished in everyone whose life she touched. Her sense of humor lasted until the day she left us, even though she was suffering. She always had a wise crack. Mom always reminded us that she was our mother whether we needed a haircut, a change in clothes or a recipe to follow. She was not only our Mother; she was our confidant and supported our every endeavor. Her pride in her family was unsurpassed. She will always be looking over us from her new home in Heaven.
