Frank Bakran, age 79, of 638 Grant Road, Germfask, passed away Tuesday July 7, 2009 at the Adeline Berry Adult Care Facility, in Germfask, where he had currently been residing.

Frank was born April 16, 1930, in Wells, the son of Andrew and Katherine (Grsich) Bakran. He was raised in Wells and throughout his life he enjoyed music and watching television. In addition, Frank loved animals, especially dogs. He will be deeply missed.

3 Brothers: Rudy Bakran of Green Bay, WI; Thomas (Edith) Bakran of Green Bay, WI; John (Judi) Bakran of Abrams, WI

4 Sisters: Mary Bakran of Escanaba, MI; Anne (Bob) Goodreau of Escanaba, MI; Elizabeth (Gerald) Potvin of Wells, MI; Patricia Servant of Escanaba, MI

Also listed among the surviving family are many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Katherine:

Visiting hours will be held privately, by Frank’s family, Thursday July 9, 2009 at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Frank Bakran will continue on Thursday, at 3:00PM, at the St. Anthony Church in Wells, with Rev. Fr. Rick Courier officiating. All are invited and most welcome to attend mass. Committal will take place at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Escanaba. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Bakran family with arrangements.
