Clarence “Butch” Vizineau, age 61, of 1412 Stephenson Avenue in Escanaba passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital.
Butch was born October 14, 1947 in Escanaba the son of Clarence and Betty (Congleton) Vizineau. He was a lifelong resident of the Escanaba area except for the time he served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Butch was a cab driver for Escanaba Taxi for several years and enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors, camp fires, traveling and going for rides. On May 22, 2004, he married, Pamela Oliver, his companion and friend for nearly twenty years at the Agape Ministries Church in Escanaba.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lois Boggs and Janice Micheau.
Butch’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Skradski-Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba. Military Honors presented by the Gladstone American Legion Post 71 will be at 5:00 PM at the funeral home followed by funeral services officiated by Pastor Art Kievet. A luncheon will follow services at the Wells Township Hall. Butch will be laid to rest at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells.
