Donald E. “Brock” Brockway, age 68, of Bay Shore Drive in Kipling passed away Friday morning, August 28, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.
Brock was born November 11, 1940, the son of Clarence and Grace (Pierce) Brockway in Joliet, Illinois. He spent most of his life in Lockport, Illinois before moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Brock served his country proudly serving in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. He was united in marriage to Lynn Galvan and in July of 1991 they moved to the Kipling area where they have remained ever since. Brock worked at Marble Arms for several years until his retirement and was a member of the Gladstone Masonic Lodge 396 and the Gladstone American Legion August Mattson Post 71. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

His sister, Bonnie Bachman of New Mexico

Brock was preceded in death by his parents.
