Amy Jo Deneau

Amy Jo Deneau, 35, of 515 Superior Avenue, Gladstone, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning October 5, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital where she had been a patient since last Wednesday.

Amy Jo was born May 20, 1974 in Escanaba the daughter of Richard and Mary (Starrine) Deneau. Amy Jo was raised in Gladstone and she attended and graduated from the Learning Center in Escanaba in 2000.

Amy Jo enjoyed playing with her toys and scooting around. She loved being out in the community and everyone enjoyed her presence. She always looked forward to her outings with Pathways. She treasured spending time with her family and friends. Amy touched the hearts of everyone she met. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Richard and Mary, survivors include:

2 sisters; Becky (Sonny) Frappier of Gladstone and Dawn (Brent) Lynch of Escanaba.

Aunts and Uncles; Vicky (Ben) Wight of Sheboygan, WI; Betty (Leo) Brunette of Gladstone; Ellen “Babe” Stewart of Marquette; James Stewart of Milwaukee; Jack (Marcy) Deneau of Marquette

3 nephews: Joshua Frappier, Tyler and Alex Lynch

1 niece; Morgan Frappier

Numerous cousins

Amy Jo was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and 2 infant brothers, James and Scott.

Amy Jo’s family will receive friends on Wednesday October 7, 2009 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating the life of Amy Jo Deneau will follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Fr. Emmett Norden officiating. A social gathering will follow services at the American Legion in Gladstone. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
