Mark Joseph Boden, age 51, of 9324 Bayshore Drive, Kipling passed away unexpectedly Friday morning February 19, 2010 at home of an apparent heart attack.
 
Mark was born November 26, 1958 in Saginaw, MI the son of Joseph W. and Betty J. (Aicher) Boden.  The family moved to Gladstone when Mark was 2 years old.  Mark was a 1977 graduate of Gladstone High School.
 
Mark had worked in Rockford, IL for 2 years before returning to Gladstone where he was a meat cutter for Soderman’s Meat Processing for 14 years.  For the past 10 years, Mark was a Section Foreman for the E.L.S. Railroad.
 
Mark was a member of the International Brotherhood of Railroad Workers.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan and his hobbies included fishing, 4-wheeling and camping.  For the past 25 years, Mark played Dartball in the area Dartball Leagues.  Mark always enjoyed having a good laugh with his friends.

3 sisters: Karen Boden of Kaukauna, WI; Heidi Horoshak of Two Harbors, MN; Rebecca (Wayne) Robitaille of Gladstone

Special dog companion, “Lucy”
 
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Joseph in 1991, mother, Betty in 2002, and his sister, Rachelle in 1976.
