Colleen Ann LaVance, age 61, passed away peacefully Tuesday February 9, 2010, at the Christian Park Health Care Facility in Escanaba. 
 
Colleen was united in marriage to Edward LaVance in 1989 and together the couple enjoyed 18 wonderful years together.  Edward preceded Colleen in death in 2006.  Colleen loved people despite being a very personal individual.  In addition she loved animals, enjoyed gardening and doing crafts. 
 
Graveside services for Colleen will be conducted on Friday, March 5, 2010, at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Christine Berquist of OSF Hospice officiating.  The Skradski Family Funeral Homes are in care of arrangements.  Use the form below to leave messages of condolence.
